Moving Fun!

This past weekend was a ton of work! We finally moved out of our crummy neighborhood and into a house! We are just renting of course it's Steven's last semester of school and once we he graduates and we save up a little we are going to buy a house! I wish we had our big beautiful house all to ourselves but we are actually sharing it with my sister and her family. It will be quite an adjustment going from a household of 3 to a household of 8! Especially when 4 of the eight are under 4 years old.

The best part of our new house is our new ward! Our old ward was hard to go to and we didn't feel that welcome. But this new ward is Fantastic! Everyone is so nice we love it and it is so nice to actually have a spriitual experience at church! What a concept!

We still have a ton of unpacking to do but once we get all setteled we'll have a housewarming party

These are a few of my favorite things

Jace definitely has favorite things to play with and they are even more his favorite when they are combined. Her loves sitting in his bumbo he gets to have a cool view point and loves to watch what I am doing. He also loves playing with his rings. He tries to see how many he can fit into his mouth and then see how far he can chuck them. Silly kid. Here are a few pics with the dinamic duo making my kid the happiest on earth =)

Wonderful Birthday/Anniversary Weekend

I love the month of August! In fact I think August is my favorite month for 2 reasons. First is my birthday and 2nd is our Anniversary. Now I'm sure you're all wondering why our Anniversary isn't first but I was born way before I had an anniversary so it gets to be first.

I have recently come to really appreciate and enjoy my birthday. I don't think I really enjoyed my birthday until my wonderful husband showed me how. He absolutely loves his birthday, and the world revolves around him when it is his day. Lucky for me that means the world revolves around me when it is mine.

Fortunately for me this year I get a birthday week. Steven's mom is going to be out of town on my actual birthday, and since the family tradition is dinner at the restaurant of your choice, we celebrated a week early. Of course I chose the Cheesecake factory Yum! They have the best mahi mahi dish that is to die for! So with dinner this weekend and my actual birthday next weekend it's like my birthday all week!

August is also our 3 year anniversary, and who doesn't love their anniversary? Instead of getting each other wrapped gifts we bought each other massages! My mom watched Jace for an hour or so this afternoon while we went. It was so relaxing and fun definately a great anniversary gift.

Another new fun thing to add to the exciting weekend is Dallas and Natalie are spending the night at our house tonight, and tomorrow we are going to our new ward. Yay I can't wait!

I love my friends

I love having good friends that don't care if you drop in on them unexpectedly. Danean is one of those friends. We love to randomly stop by her house when we are in the neighborhood and she doesn't mind a bit. It also helps that she has a baby Julius that is only a few months older than Jace so we can talk about baby stuff and our kids can play. Well Jace really isn't old enough to play with other kids yet but Julius was sure fascinated by another baby.
